Scandent twining liana with sparsely pilose stems. Coriaceous crenate-serrate leaves to 180mm x 10-5mm, glabrous above & pilose beneath. Axillary panicles with bracts to 6mm long, flower heads to 9mm high with bracts to 5mm x 1.2mm, white corolla to 6mm long with tube to 1.5mm long & lobes to 1mm x 0.6mm. Achenes 3mm long with pappus 5mm long.
