Semi-woody twining subshrub with striate glabrate stems. Glabrous leaves to 100mm x 60mm with denticulate margins. Thyrses to 150mm x 50mm with bracts, flower heads 5mm long with bracts 2mm long, phyllaries to 4mm long, corolla 3mm long with tube 1mm long & teeth 0.5mm long. Achenes to 2.1mm long with white pappus bristles to 3.5mm long.
