Woody liana with striate glabrous or sparsely puberulent stems. Serrate leaves to 100mm x 50mm, glabrous above & glabrate beneath. Panicles with flower heads to 6mm long with bracts, corolla to 4mm long with tube 2mm long & teeth 0.5mm long. Greenish achene 2mm long with white pappus bristles 3mm long.
