Woody twining liana with hexagonal stems. Leaves to 95mm x 62mm, scabrid above & tomentellous beneath. Terminal & axillary corymbs with bracts to 45mm x 30mm, flower heads 11mm x 5mm with 4 flowers per head, whitish corolla 6mm long with tube 1.3mm long & 5 lobes to 2.2mm x 1mm. Achenes 5mm long with pappus to 6.5mm long.
