Glabrous climbing to 6m, or erect shrub or herb or glabrescent tall twining subshrub with glabrous stems, puberulous striate branches, toothed or entire leaves 110mm x 60mm villous or puberulous both faces, terminal corymbs or cymes to 200mm wide with bracts to 5mm long, corolla tube with 5 lobes, 20mm wide white to pale yellow flowers, white fruit achene 1mm long, reddish-brown achenes to 1mm
