Tall rusty-tomentose liana with yellow tomentose stems, glabrous slightly coriaceous leaves 50mm x 40mm, axillary cymes to 50mm long with bracts, of 6.5mm red flowers, tube 3mm, lobes to 3mm, 5 sepals 2mm long tomentose outside with tube 1mm long, 5 petals, & paired brown tomentose follicles to 180mm long x 5mm
