Scandent herb with red to red-green stems. Glabrous leaves to 34mm x 25mm with dentate margins. Pendulous terminal cymes to 35mm long with bracts, 9 flowers in 3 groups with bracteoles to 5.5mm long, flowers to 8mm x 5mm, yellow hypanthium to 5mm with teeth to 1.8mm, yellow petals to 4mm x 3.5mm. Red to purple fruit 7mm diameter.
