Flowering Times
Fruiting Times
Mostly glabrous liana to 20m with glabrous branchlets. Mature plants have thicke stems with recurved 5mm prickles on woody knobs. Bipinnate leaves to 200mm long with leaflets to 70mm x 55mm. Supra-axillary and terminal panicles to 1000mm long with bracts 1mm x 0.5mm, orange flowers tinged pink, calyx tube red to 15mm x 8mm,calyx lobes to 10mm long, pink petals to 32mm x 12mm, thin bright red flat winged legume to 170mm x 60mm, wing to 20mm wide
