Twining herbaceous shrub or high-climber with corky glabrous stems, downy branches. Glabrous or puberulous mucronate leaves to 50mm x 30mm. Extra-axillary many-flowered umbels or cymes of small greenish-white flowers, pale green in centre, calyx 1.5mm wide with puberulous lobes 1.25mm long, 5-parted corolla glabrous outside puberulous inside to 100mm x 3.5mm, greenish outside, lobes to 3mm x 1mm. Glabrous follicles to 70mm x 4.5mm.
