Twining vine with quadrangular winged stems. Mucronulate leaves to 120mm x 70mm, glabrous or sparingly pilose. Solitary 30mm long white flowers with purple throat with glabrous bracts to 25mm x 15mm, glabrous white corolla with purple throat to 50mm long with lobes 10mm long. Dark purple fruit to 19mm long.
