Scandent shrub with glabrate young branches, major leaves 140mm x 60mm pilose on nerves above ferruguneous pilose beneath, minort leaves to 30mm x 20mm, axillary panicles or cymes to 100mm long with glabrescent nodal bracts 5mm x 2mm, pubescent bracteoles 5mm x 4mm, pubescent calyx 2mm long, 4 petals 5mm long, flowers & bracts pink, fruit at least 5mm long x 6mm diameter
