Hairy twining vine with corky bark. Hairy lobed leaves to 122mm x 102mm. Pale green or yellow-green to lilac flowers to 11mm long in cymes with bracts to 6mm long, calyx lobes to 10mm x 4mm, corolla to 11mm with lobes to 8mm, corona lobes to 4mm.Follicles to 113mm x 27mm, dark reddish-purple to nearly black.
