Liana, shrub or tree with lenticellate stems. Glabrous coriaceous leaves to 200mm x 80mm. Axillary panicles to 110mm long, pink-mauve or white flowers tipped cream-yellow. Glabrous winged fruits to 30mm wide, nut 5mm long, wings to 22mm x 25mm
