Scandent shrub to 2.6m with pubescent stems. Glabrous or pubescent coriaceous leaves to 60mm x 8mm. Many-flowered terminal & axillary racemes to 60mm long with bracts to 5mm & bracteoles to 2mm. Flowers to 12.5mm diameter with glabrous sepals to 2.5mm long, blue petals 6.5mmx 5mm. Fruit with samaras to 12.5mm wide
