Woody liana or shrub. Glabrous leaves 100mm x 55mm, lateral or sublateral cymes with bracts 6mm long. Fragrant flowers cream or greenish-yellow, sepals 3mm long, corolla 12mm diameter with tomentose lobes 4.5mm x 3mm, coronal lobes to 2mm long. Spongy follicles 85mm x 40mm with frilled wings
