Epiphytic shrub or hemi-epiphytis liana or small treelet with fleshy glabrous stems. Leaves in whorls of about 6 to 250mm x 450mm, glabrous beneath with tiny glandular trichomes above. Axillary raceme-like cymes to 100mm long with 4-10 flowers, each flower with bracts to 10mm long, bracts becoming deciduous. Calyx lobes white or cream to 30mm x 70mm, cream corolla with reddish-purple lobes to 90mm long, tube 80mm long, purple at base, glabrous lobes 15mm x 20mm. Yellowish-green berries 40mm x 20mm,
