Epiphytic liana with adventitious roots or tree with glabrous leathery leaves to 120mm x 35mm. Few-flowered umbels or racemes with bracts, of 16mm green to white flowers forming calyptra 10mm wide 36-40 filments per flower. Light brown fruit 20mm diameter with a red seed, edible pulp.
