Large scandent shrub or subshrub with tomentose young branchlets. Bicoloured leaves to 80mm long. villous above & tomentose beneath. Axillary umbellate cymes of violet flowers 10mm long with lobes to 2.5mm long.Tomentose capsule 5mm long
