Puberulous twiner, young branches pubescent. Leaves to 7mm x 25mm, pubescent beneath. 1-2 axillary scarlet flowers with connate bracts at base, pubescent calyx lobes to 1.5mm long, glabrous or pubescent corolla 30mm x 5mm. Turbinate capsule to 8mm x 4mm, glabrous or sparsely puberulent.
