Twining pubescent or glabrate liana or shrub with leaves hispid & mucronate, hairy & strigose above, downy beneath to 200mm x 80mm, stems hairy. 75mm pale yellow or white hairy fragrant flowers with red centre or purple stripes solitary or in axillary racemes with bracts to 20mm long up to 12 flowers, hispid calyx lobes to 10mm long, corolla grey-hairy on outside, corolla tube 35mm x 2mm with throat 20mm x 20mm & lobes to 18mm. Articulate glabrate 180mm x 6mm hairy green follicles maturing brown.
