Woody tomentulose twining vine with glandular stems & leaf base. Leaves to 150mm x 80mm, puberulent or glabrate above & white tomentulose beneath with red or purplish veins. 15-20 flowered axillary racemes with bracts, of fragrant green or yellow flowers with red on lobes & a tinge on tube 50mm long, puberulent calyx lobes to 6mm long, glabrous corolla to 22.5mm x 2mm & lobes to 20mm long. Follicles to 350mm long.
