Woody evergreen somewhat twining or erect rhizomatous hemi-epiphytic herb or liana with glabrous stems. Glabrous coriaceous leaves to 100mm x 40mm. 2-8 flowered lateral, terminal or subterminal racemes or cymes 70mm diameter. White flowers with yellow throat with bracts to 1mm long, glabrous calyx to 5mm long, calyx lobes to 8mm long, glabrous corolla tube 18mm x 2mm with throat 14mm x 7mm, lobes to 30mm x 20mm. Glabrous follicles to 150mm long
