Scrambling shrub to 3.3m or treelet with axillary corymbs, cymes or umbels of pink to pale purple or white flowers to 16mm diameter, glabrous sepal to 5mm long, corolla to 20mm wide, ciliate-dentate petals to 5mm x 7mm, larger petals to 9mm long, red drupe to 10mm diameter, leaves glabrous above pubescent & bristly beneath to 90mm long
