Liana or sometimes small shrub to 8m with hirsute stems. Hirsute leaves to 220mm x 120mm. Hirsute inflorescence of 3-8 glomerules of 5-15 flowers, with bracts to 12mm long. Glabrous to sparsely hairy calyx to 1.2mm long, yellow corolla glabrous outside, tube to 3mm long, lobes to 1.2mm long. Cylindrical glabrous red fruit to 12mm x 4mm
