Erect, decumbent or scandent evergreen shrub or tree with lenticellate stems to 5m with glabrescent branchlets. Dentate coriaceous leaves 160mm x 50mm with entire to serrate margins. Axillary glabrous racemes or panicles to 40mm with bracts & bracteoles to 1mm of 5mm white flowers, solitary or up to 3-flowers, 5 sepals 0.75mm long, calyx 2mm, calyx tube 0.5mm long, lobes to 1mm, 5 petals 0.8mm long, corolla tube 4mm long with lobes to 1mm. Globose fleshy yellow-white fruit with black lines to 6mm diameter surmounted by persistent sepals.
