Scandent glabrescent shrub to 3m or tree with angular lenticellate stems. Coarsely serrated leaves 210mm x 110mm. Axillary or subterminal racemes or panicles to 75mm long with bracts 1mm & bracteoles, white to light yellow-green 2mm flowers, 5 sepals to 0.75mm long, calyx tube to 0.75mm long, 5 petals to 0,75mm long with denticulate margins, corolla tube to 0.6mm with denticulate lobes. Ribbed white edible berry to 3.5mm x 3mm diameter surmounted by persistent calyx.
