Annual or biennial prostrate, somewhat shrubby erect or slightly twining herb with hairy stems. Trifoliolate leaves, glabrous above puberulent beneath,terminal leaflet to 60mm x 40mm, lateral leaflets to 6mm x 2mm, silky foliage. 400mm spicate axillary pseudo-racemes of 20mm purple-red & white flowers, calyx 6mm long, standard to 15mm long, wings to 18mm across, keel shorter, spirally twisted keel. Densely pubescent or glabrous brown beaked strigose pod to 140mm x 3mm
