Herbaceous slender twining hairy perennial prostrate or climbing vine becoming glabrescent. Coriaceous leaves. Inflorescence with basal bractlets. 13mm red & violet or mauve or white flowers, 5-toothed calyx to 4mm long, bilobed standard to 14mm long, spiraled keel to 10mm long. Fruit to 75mm x 8mm
