Perennial tuberous herbaceous hairy prostrate or twining vine with pilose stems. Mucronate leaflets to 36mm long, entire or lobed, pubescent or hispid beneath. Spikes to 250mm long of 5-8 red & orange flowers to 7mm, yellow at base, with bracts to 2mm long & bracteoles to 1.5mm long, calyx 3mm long, corolla 5mm long or purple standard & wings with yellow keel. Incurved puberulent fruit to 30mm x 4mm with beak
