Sometimes scandent shrub or tree to 5m. Young stems puberulent. 7-foliolate leaves, leaflets to 95mm x 40mm, glabrous above & pubescent on mid-vein beneath. Axillary panicles with pubescent bracts to 2mm x 1.5mm & silky bracteoles to 1.5mm x 1.5mm. Flowers to 9mm long with silky striate calyx 4mm x 3mm & lobes 0.5mm long, white & lavender petals.
