Liana to 9m with glabrescent lenticellate stems. 11-13 foliolate leaves, leaflets to 110mm x 30mm, glabrous above, puberulent beneath. Axillary or terminal panicles with pubescent bracts 2mm x 1.5mm & pubescent bracteoles to 2mm x 2mm. Flowers to 11mm long with calyx to 4mm x 3mm & lobes 1mm, purple-pink petals silky outside.
