Fruiting Times
Prickly stemmed or unarmed tree, shrub or high-climbing liana to 25m+ with spines to 8mm long. Imparipinnate leaves of 5-13 coriaceous leaflets to 260mm x 110mm, glabrous above & silky to minutely puberulent beneath. Mauve to blue & white flowers or white flowers or brown & cream or flushed pink 10mm long in terminal many-flowered panicles to 500mm long with spiny bracts to 5mm long & bractlets to 2mm x 1.5mm on brown silky branches, flowers to 10mm long, white petals with violet spots, rusty red tomentose calyx 4mm x 2.5mm, standard to 7mm+ long. Glabrous fruit to 100mm x 24mm with wing to 65mm x 20mm.
