Sometimes twining subshrub with puberulent leaves to 200mm x 52mm with denticulate margins. Cymes of about four 30mm purple flowers with yellow tinged tube, bracts to 3mm long, calyx to 6.5mm long, yellow corolla to 28mm long with tube 14mm long, upper lip 7mm long, 2-lobed, lower lip 3-lobed. Fruit capsule to 32mm long.
