Liana or slender scandent shrub with hairy young branches. Leaves to 100mm x 55mm, hairy above & stellate-villous beneath. 4-5 flowered inflorescence, blue flowers, toothed calyx to 7mm long with 10 teeth to 4mm long, violet corolla to 20mm long. Bright orange fruits to 10mm long
