Shrub becoming a high-climbing vine with glabrescent stems, coriaceous glabrous leaves to 140mm x 50mm, terminal or rarely lateral puberulent racemes or panicles up to 250mm long to 8 flowers, white or cream bract-like subtending leaf, white flowers,glabrescent calyx tube to 15mm x 2mm, lobes glabrous within, petals to 1mm x 0.5mm , glabrescent drupe to 30mm x 20mm wide surrounded by inflated swollen calyx
