Vigorous woody canopy tendril liana with longitudinally grooved and lenticellate branches, leaves to 240mm x 100mm. Axillary or terminal panicles or racemes to 250mm long with bracts at base often becoming tendrils, greenish-white or yellowish flowers to 2mm, sepals hairy on both sides 1.5mm, 1mm petals, 5-winged dark brown capsule 35mm x 18mm, wings 8mm wide
