Slender twining shrub, leaves glabrous above, tomentose beneath to 110mm x 65mm, terminal and axillary twin-flowered hairy panicles with bracts to 2mm and shorter bracteoles. Creamy fragrant flowers aging yellow, calyx purplish with grey-hairy lobes to 2mm corolla to 30mm long, tube to 20mm x 1mm and lobes to 14mm x 2.5mm, fruit a dark purple or black berry.
