High-climbing woody liana to 20m. Lenticellate stems with strong cucmber scent. 7-foliolate leaves to 170mm x 70mm, glabrous above, puberulous beneath. Many-flowered axillary racemes to 130mm long with minute bracts. Flowers with 5-toothed calyx 6mm long, 5 purple petals with standard 12mm diameter with white centre. wings 11mm long, keel 7mm x 3mm.
