Large liana with coriaceous glabrous leaves to 110mm x 45mm, puberulous inflorescence to 25mm long with triangular bracts to 1.25mm long, greenish-brown or yellowish flowers, calyx lobes to 1.25mm, puberulous outside, petals to 6.5mm x 2.5mm, pilose on upper half outside and inside and on margins, woody follicles to 45mm x 25mm
