Scandent shrub or woody vine with young portions pilose. Leaves to 100mm x 35mm, white-tomentose beneath. White-tomentose coymbs with bracts, densely-flowered heads to 15mm long with scales in 5-6 series, fragrant orange flowers. Pubesctn achene 5mm long with tawny pappus 10mm long.
