Woody liana to 10m with branchlets, petioles and inflorescences covered with yellow-brown indumentum, Puberulous leaves to 260mm x 160mm. Puberulous cymes, male infloresence to 160mm long, flowers greenish-yellow with tomentose sepals 3 outer sepals 0.5mm long, 3 middle sepals 0.75mm long, 3 inner sepals 1.5mm x 1.5mm, 6 glabrous petals 0.75mm long, female flowers similar but with shorter inflorescence, glabrescent yellow drupe 20mm x 16mm
