Sometimes climbing shrub or subshrub to 2.5m with white-tomentose stems. Leaves to 205mm x 125mm with mucronate-serrate margins, glabrous above & white-tomentose beneath. Umbels of 25-50 flowerheads 7mm x 7.5mm, 25-35 ray florets with yellow pubescent corolla to 12mm long, tube to 4.5mm x 0.35mm & limb to 7.5mm x 1.5mm, 35-40 disc florets with yellow glabrescent or pubescent corolla to 7mm long, tube 3mm x 0.3mm, limb to 4mm x 0.9mm, lobes to 2mm x 0.3mm. Achenes to 1mm x 0.5mm, yellow pappus bristles, outer series 1.5mm long, inner series to 4.5mm long.
