Twining herbaceous tomentose liane with axillary umbels or cymes with minute bracts, of red or white to cream flowers, sepals 6mm long, white corolla with 12mm long tube with limb 12mm diameter, coriaceous brown capsule with brown spiny pubescence to 12mm long, stems, peduncles, petioles & calyxes with stiff hairs, toothed lobed leaves with stiff hairs 160mm x 150mm
