Woody vine to 6m or shrubby climber with pubescent stems, coriaceous leaves scabrous or glabrous above puberulent beneath 150mm x 50mm, cymes with bracteal leaves of slightly scented greenish-white flowers 10mm high, fruit brown, hirsute achenes 2.5mm long with white hairs 2mm long, bristle 7mm long
