Woody sprawling climber or shrub, pubescent ribbed branches. Leaves pubescent or strigose above tomentose beneath to 200mm x 70mm. Terminal & axillary cymes, panicles or coymbs of 18-24 florets, to 200mm long with bracteal leaves, flowers to 8mm long, lavender, white or pink corolla to 7mm long, tomentose phyllaries. Pubescent ribbed achenes to 3mm long with white bristles 5mm long
