Large cauliflorous liane with coriaceous leaves glabrous above glabrescent beneath 250mm x 110mm, small rusty-tomentose panicles 150mm x 150mm, of pink-white flowers, 5-toothed calyx thick petals glabrous within, densely hirsute ovary, large red knobbly drupe 60mm x 50mm with numerous longitudinal furrows
