Fruiting Times
Herbaceous glabrous or pubescent scrambling perennial tendril vine with 2-3-branched tendrils, glabrous or nearly so tetragonal winged stems to 600mm long. Pinnate leaves to 150mm long ending in forked tendril, 4-8 mucronate leaflets to 60mm long. 2-7 flowered inflorescence to 150mm long of 22mm pale purple-blue to red flowers or variegated blue & purple, ribbed calyx tube, keel petals to 15mm long. Glabrous seed pod brown to 70mm with short curved beak.
