Terminal and lateral puberulous racemes to 300mm long with bracts to 3mm long and minute bracteoles, 4mm long calyx with 5 minute teeth, red petals to 8mm, glabrous outside, silky hairy inside, flat woody densely velvety pods to 110mm x 60mm
