Perennial shrubby grass, woody culms climbing to 4m. Glabrous leaves 160mm x 20mm with some hairs mid-vein, scabrous on margin. Panicles to 200mm long with secondary axes to 120mm long, spikelets to 4.3mm x 2.6mm, glume 1.5mm long
