Creeping or scrambling annual herb to 1.5m with woody stems with irritant hairs, leaves to 120mm x 80mm with iritant hairs on both surfaces, margins serrate to dentate, unisexual axillary panicles with minute bracts, male flowers to 1.5mm x 1.5mm with 5 tepals, female flowers have 4 tepals, both flowers with minute bracts, achenes to 1.5mm x 1mm with narrow wing each side
